Every once in a while, an announcement comes along that feels bigger than a typical concert announcement.
This is one of those moments.
Lover's Rock Productions and Rosie’s Gaming Emporium are proud to announce that Bumpin Uglies will perform a FREE show live in Vinton, Virginia on Saturday, September 12, 2026, for what promises to be one of the most anticipated live music events of the year.
Opening the evening will be Pennsylvania-based reggae-rock favorites Elephants Dancing, creating a lineup that brings together two bands known for energetic performances, devoted fan bases, and a unique ability to turn a concert into a shared experience.
For fans of reggae, rock, ska, punk, and independent music, September 12 is a date you'll want to circle on the calendar.
The Rise of Bumpin Uglies
Formed in Annapolis, Maryland, Bumpin Uglies have spent more than a decade building a loyal following throughout the country by blending reggae, ska, punk, rock, and hip-hop influences into a sound that is uniquely their own. Often described as pioneers of "Mid-Atlantic Dub," the band has built its reputation through relentless touring, authentic songwriting, and a grassroots connection with fans.
Over the past year, the band has continued to gain momentum.
Their music continues to attract millions of streams across digital platforms, while their touring schedule has expanded to include appearances alongside nationally recognized acts such as Iration, Tribal Seeds, and Slightly Stoopid. The band's ongoing national touring presence has taken them to major venues and festivals across the country, introducing their music to larger audiences than ever before.
What makes Bumpin Uglies special is their ability to connect.
Whether performing for a packed festival crowd or an intimate venue audience, their shows create an atmosphere where fans feel like part of something larger. Their songs balance humor, vulnerability, optimism, and honesty in a way that resonates deeply with listeners.
Simply put, Bumpin Uglies isn't just a band. It's a community.
Meet the Openers: Elephants Dancing

Helping kick off the evening will be Elephants Dancing, an emerging Pennsylvania-based band that has quickly earned attention throughout the Mid-Atlantic music scene.
Known for their infectious grooves, positive energy, and crowd engagement, Elephants Dancing has developed a growing fan base through consistent touring and memorable live performances.
Southwest Virginia music fans won't have to wait until September to see them.
You can catch Elephants Dancing at their own full show at Martin's Downtown in Roanoke on July 25, giving audiences an opportunity to experience the band in a headline setting.
Then, just one night before opening for Bumpin Uglies, they'll make a stop at Wings Etc. in Salem on September 11, creating an exciting back-to-back weekend of performances before taking the stage at Rosie’s.
For music fans who enjoy discovering bands before they explode onto larger stages, now is the perfect time to get familiar with Elephants Dancing.
A Landmark Event for Rosie’s
Since launching the partnership between Rosie’s Gaming Emporium and Lover's Rock Productions, our goal has been simple: bring exceptional live entertainment to the region while creating memorable experiences for music lovers.
Bumpin Uglies represents a significant step forward in that mission.
This show continues to demonstrate what's possible when venues invest in live music and communities rally behind those efforts.
We're incredibly excited to welcome both Bumpin Uglies and Elephants Dancing to Vinton and look forward to sharing more details in the coming weeks.
One thing is certain:
September 12 is going to be special.
Mark your calendars, tell your friends, and get ready for a night of unforgettable live music.
Because sometimes the best shows aren't the ones you travel across the country to see.
Sometimes they're the ones that come to your hometown.
